Sometimes when I start, I don’t even know where I’ll end up… and I surprise myself. I always feel a big sense of accomplishment when I’m done because in a very short amount of time I’ve managed to create something all my own that has a beginning a middle and an end… not typical of the kind of work we do every day, which can takes months, even years before there’s a sense of completion or wholeness.

Myku has the potential of healing by helping us integrate our own thoughts and ideas and then finding ways of connecting them with others. Through this process we can begin to weave a tapestry of relationship. Are we on this journey by ourselves or are we traveling with each other and with ourselves?

I realized I would be instantly "published" in MYKU World. If I wanted to, I could write privately, but I took a leap and put it out there. I was shocked and thrilled when someone answered my myku. My thoughts found resonance. This simple thing was quite profound for me.

I never attempted to write a poem before but in the last month I’ve written 30 Mykus. I’ve received comments from my friends at Mykuworld saying how much they loved them or how they can relate to what my poems are expressing. . It’s a fun challenge for me to get my point across in 4 lines and to see that it’s possible. I’ve learned a lot about myself and my friends in Mykuworld.
